![]() However, the last two updates I stuck it out long enough to figure things out. To be honest, the first couple of times I tried this game I ran into a similar wall. I'm seeing a lot of folks in this thread complain about the difficulty. If what has been accomplished so far is really the work of a single individual, it is very impressive. That time delay is inevitable given the scale of the game. It's clear that the developer cares enough about the project to get things right, even if it will take them some time. ![]() This game has a rare level of polish and detail for this site. Can I play daddy vs death incarnate in Wolf 3D does this more enemies, faster reaction time, and higher damage at point blank range. Then you wouldn't be stuck without a weapon on hardest difficulty, and then the only difference in difficulty is how much nastier you want things. Then, harder difficulties means they adapt combat difficulty faster, there are more of them, and tentacles are faster/tougher/respawns. They put a ton of work into creating a unique and flexible mesh/animator for the tentacle, and there is only two animations thus far.Īs for difficulties, if they wanted to do a Wolf3d inspiration, have all of the difficulties start with a weapon. But, I kinda wish there was more tentacle stuff. Now this could all be because its still in early development and it is planned to have more of it later. You have no gear that improves stealthiness (quiet steps, camoflauge with environment, active camo, null signature, etc). You can't do a silent takedown (lethal or otherwise), you have no infinite emergency attack (stab, slice, punch, kick, blaster pistol, gauntlet etc) and the only way to silently kill foes is with a silencer. You can't climb or platform or wall hug/shimmy. There are no crawlspaces, vents, or secret paths. There isn't a dedicated stealth button, there isn't any way to effectively distract or lure targets to a specific point, you can't go prone, crawl, or perform slides. you've most likely burned through all 5 sex scenes hours ago by the time you get the chance to change anything meaningful about your character's looks.Ĭlick to expand.Kind of odd how you call it a stealth game, when it doesn't really have any of the trappings / mechanics of one (ie Splinter Cell, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Dishonored 2, etc). TL DR, the developer doesn't need to make the game easier, but does need to make it clear that this is a STEALTH game, and also change the difficulty names if he doesn't want to lose 2/3 of players just because he decided to make the names mocking.Īlso, make the cosmetic changes easier to obtain. That being said, on your first playthrough you should be playing on the easiest difficulty, until you've figured out how the AI works, regardless of how the name of the difficulty make your ego feel.Īfter starting the game on the middle difficulty, and dying helplessly to the first enemies i faced, losing all my gear, and getting frustrated, i started on the easier difficulty and played for 4 hours or so without a single non-intentional death. You are expected to sneak up to enemies, pop the first guy in the head, and then utilize cover to kill the 1-2 remaining enemies. ![]() This is a STEALTH game, not a run and gun shooter. Think of it like with sets in math, normally the proof must be constructed that your actions fit within a set of actions defined by the law as illegal, and any law with exceptions still requires a proof for that, but then to defend yourself instead of just showing their proof to be invalid, you have to construct another proof that your actions were within a subset of the illegal set that is allowed. While i understand the frustrations with the game being too difficult, it's really just an issue of the developer not being clear enough about how it is meant to be played. I was not saying that is the normal rule the courts in the United States operate under, and certainly not saying that is how they should operate, I was highlighting the weird insanity of certain parts of American law. This makes it so that no matter how broad the exception is, in those cases it is essentially guilty until proven innocent. While the courts in the united states presume innocence of a crime, if there is an exception in a law where an activity which is normally illegal is made legal under certain circumstances, then the burden of proof to prove that the person did the act is upon the accuser, but the person defending themself under an exception to a law has to prove they were covered by it. Click to expand. If you had actually read my post which he was replying to you'd realize that what I said was that if something is illegal except under certain circumstances, that activity is illegal until it's proven legal.
