I would definitely recommend this product. When I first started using it I thought I was breaking out but I think it may have been my new bed sheets. I think that it works really good on my skin. After that I had to switch back to my old moisturizer.Love this!5I really like this. Lastly, I started breaking out in the little red spots that for me indicate a reaction. It does a great job at controlling oil, but after a few days my skin started drying out. Unfortunately there was a layer that just sat on my skin all day and never quite fully absorbed. The formula is nice and lightweight on the fingertips, and I like that the packaging gives you a perfect dose. It stung on application, which wasn't a good first sign. I mean for the price point, it's amazing! Not for meI had had great luck with every Bubble product so far, so I was bummed that this was a miss for me. However, if you have broken skin or a compromised/ damaged skin barrier, like from eczema or something, this may sting a little when first applied. This's great for those who have combination or oilier skin types and want hydration without feeling weighed down. It feels even better kept in the fridge! For reference, the formula/ texture/ results of this moisturizer is very comparable to Purito's Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream and their Deep Sea Pure Water Cream. I love applying this in the morning because it has such a refreshing, cooling, silky, gel-like formula that doesn't pill, feel heavy under or sweats your makeup off, or cause any extra oiliness throughout the day. Currently, summer's just beginning and the weather in my area is already a sweltering, humid 95 degrees. I actually prefer it more for daytime use. I grab for now during the day now as well. But don't get me wrong, I wouldn't consider this product an occlusive at all. I started out applying this as one of the last steps in my routine before bed, and I was amazed at how this lightweight moisturizer was able to keep my skin supple throughout the night. But shockingly, I loved everything I got. And honestly, despite the good ingredient list, I really wasn't expecting anything when I first tried it. My usual skincare products are around 3x the price than this, and I hadn't even heard of this brand, let alone considered trying it before a friend recommended it to me. I'm sure my skin conditions are symptoms of my autoimmune conditions because I also get hormonal acne that's almost impossible to treat topically. (FYI, only use it once a week to avoid messing up your skin barrier.ShockedA few years ago, I developed extremely sensitive eczema and rosacea prone skin out of nowhere. Instructions say to leave it on for up to 15 minutes, but I ended up rinsing the stuff off after ten the first time I used it. With a formula packed with ingredients like azelaic acid, willow bark extract, and fruit enzymes (plus alpha and poly hydroxy acids), it's clear that it was getting to work fast. Pretty soon after applying a thin layer to my skin, I definitely noticed a slight tingling sensation - nothing too crazy, but something sensitive folks will definitely want to keep in mind. It didn't have much of a scent (Bubble products are fragrance-free) and had a lightweight, gel-cream consistency. I followed the instructions and dispensed a few pumps onto clean skin. Ives Apricot scrub?) I tend to avoid harsh scrubs for that reason, so a chemical exfoliator like Bubble's Deep Dive AHA + PHA Exfoliating Mask was right up my alley. It may seem counterintuitive, but a chemical exfoliator can be gentler on your skin than a rough scrub ( remember the St. Exfoliating is an important step for keeping skin bright and soft as well as for ensuring pores stay clear of acne-causing dirt and bacteria.
